Dear Indonesian readers,

Speleology is the study about caves,
NOT the study about unimportant/trivial things,
although "spele" ini Bahasa Indonesia indeed means unimportant/trivial.
Thus, it is safe to assume uselessology as the study about unimportant/trivial things :D

In Bahasa Indonesia, when someone ask you a question and you don't know the answer, you can poetically request the person to ask "rumput yang bergoyang" which means ask the 'dancing grass'.

If your xxxx is thin enough and the breeze is strong enough you can also have this 'dancing grass'......

Entong = Er Tong ?

Yesterday evening, going back home , I was on a 'Kopaja' microbus when a bunch of junior high school boys/girls got on board also....
the driver assistant a.k.a. 'Kenek' shouted that they positioned themselves properly inside the micro bus, so we can have more person aboard
...as the old saying goes: the more the merrier :(

When the Kenek addressed the boys as "Entong" which normally used to address small boys, I instead heard "Er Tong", which in chinese have similar meaning i.e. children of primary school age.

May be there is something wrong with my ears or my brain .....
But is "Entong" really derived from Chinese word "Er Tong"........ who cares :D
